On May 9, 2022, CSSC Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. and China Shipbuilding Trading Company, Ltd., as Co-Seller, and a joint venture established by the world's top two leaders in the field of cruise ships, Carnival and Royal Caribbean, signed two construction contracts respectively for one (1) 120,000 ton floating dry dock and one (1) 93,500 ton floating dry dock.

The two new floating docks aim to expand the capacity of the dry dock of Great Bahamas Shipyard located in the Bahamas Freeport. The docks are scheduled to be delivered in 2024 and will become the largest floating dock in the Western Hemisphere upon their arrival in Bahamas. The lifting capacity of the two docks meets the lifting requirements for repairing existing and currently planned new cruise ships as well as most type of ships sailing for global trade.
