In June 2022, the world’s largest container shipping company Mediterranean Shipping Company S.A. (“MSC”) continues to expand its fleets. MSC ordered a total of 20 LNG DUAL FUEL Container Vessels in NTS, which is the largest order since the establishment of NTS in 2000. Aiming at satisfying the international market demand and focusing on high-tech ships and dual fuel powered vessels, with this order, NTS has become the shipbuilder owning largest number of LNG-powered vessels orders in China. The signing of this contract is of great significance, marking a further step towards the construction of a strong shipbuilding province of Jiangsu Province and the initial realization of NTS's goal to seize the high ground of international competition with new products of high tech and high added value.
