Zengli Li Partner
Li Zengli has led or participated in a broad range of transactions in connection with corporate formation and operation, in particular those with respect to foreign direct investments, mergers and acquisitions (both domestic and cross-border), and private equity deals. He has advised on deal structures, participated in negotiations, and also handled substantial legal due diligence investigations on a variety of scales.
He has furthermore represented domestic and international corporations in contentious matters concerning international trade (including shipping), insurance, patent, sale of goods and real estate, labour, joint venture and other commercial areas. He has provided litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution services to clients in connection with their business inside and outside of the PRC.
Li Zengli joined Yaoliang as a Partner in March 2005. Before this, he was an Associate with Jun He Law Offices, Shanghai, from 2001 to 2005; and Guangdong Law Firm, Guangzhou, from 1996 to 1999.
He gained his PgDL (CPE Course) at BPP Law School, London, UK, in 2001, and his LL.M. at the University College of London Faculty of Law in 2000. Before this, He obtained his LL.M. at Dalian Maritime University in 1997 and L.L.B. at Jilin University School of Law in 1994.
Li Zengli is a Member of the All-China Bar Association. He is fluent in English and Mandarin.
